in Adelaide have collaborated with an elegant retrospective analysis on the
needs for post operative analgesia in maintenance patients using PCA. In addition to supporting the safety of
continuing methadone, they conclude: “These results confirm that continuation
of buprenorphine perioperatively is appropriate.”
